Dr. Mackenzie Treece
Veterinarian & Hospital Owner
Dr. Mackenzie Treece, the owner of Five Rivers Pet Emergency Hospital, acquired the ER in October 2022. Under her leadership, the practice has flourished, offering advanced services, extended hours (now 24/7/365), and an expanded facility in early 2026.
She is a Tennessee native and graduated from Lincoln Memorial University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Her passion lies in emergency medicine, critical care, and advanced surgeries.
Outside of her shift as the veterinarian, she manages the hospital behind the scenes and supports her staff in achieving their goals.
Dr. Treece’s motivation for owning an emergency practice is to create a positive environment for her team, mentoring new doctors, and provide the highest standard of care to patients.
When she’s not at the practice, Dr. Treece enjoys spending time at home or traveling with her husband and three children. Their home is a lively place, filled with four dogs, a cat, and a crested gecko.
