Veterinary Technologist
Cassandra has been a licensed veterinary technologist at Five Rivers Pet Emergency Hospital since 2017. Her passion for veterinary medicine was shaped by personal loss and her experience in hospice nursing, inspiring her to pursue a career dedicated to animal welfare.
She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology from Lincoln Memorial University, completed an externship at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, and passed the VTNE to become licensed in Tennessee.
Cassandra lives in Newport with her husband Spencer and their three rescue dogs, each with a unique story and personality. Outside of work, she enjoys creative activities, gardening, reading, and collecting vintage toys from the 1980s and 1990s.
