Veterinary Assistant / Technician
Megan grew up on a cattle farm where she was actively involved in helping when the veterinarian visited. Her early exposure to animal care through these experiences helped shape her passion for veterinary medicine. She currently lives near her family, with her parents still residing on the farm where she grew up. She has one older brother and is an aunt to a niece and nephew.
Megan shares her home with an impressive menagerie of animals. Her five dogs include Jasper, a 10-year-old Basenji mix who prefers spending his days lounging on the couch; Maya, a 9-year-old Chihuahua with a princess personality; Scout, an 8-year-old Chihuahua mix known for developing various behavioral quirks; Obyrion, a 3-year-old Great Dane who insists on being a lap dog; and Crowley, a 2-year-old French Bulldog mix with a notably vocal nature. She also cares for four cats ranging from 2 to 7 years old and two ferrets. Outside of work, Megan enjoys reading, visiting Universal and Disney parks, and is currently enrolled in Penn Foster’s online veterinary technician program.
